2 Development
In this stage, we transform ideas into actionable strategies by sourcing and preparing high-quality data. The model is then integrated into our trading system for evaluation and refinement.
3 Testing
Strategies are rigorously backtested over historical data to assess their performance. Parameters are optimized and risk management frameworks are incorporated to enhance consistency and scalability.
4 Deployment
Successful strategies are deployed in live markets with continuous monitoring on our proprietary platform. Adjustments are made as needed to respond to evolving market conditions and maintain performance.
Our Process
The AlgoGators Investment Fund was launched in the fall semester of 2023. We currently have a team of 34, with backgrounds ranging from Finance to Computer Science to Biomedical Engineering. We are one of the first organizations in the country to offer undergraduate students an opportunity to trade live capital using sophisticated, algorithm-driven investment strategies.
